But really how awful that something so simple is so huge! I can’t say I’ve been in your shoes exactly, but I can sympathize – by about month seven of last year’s adventures I was dying for a hug from my mom. Hang in there girl.

I once read an article on skin hunger, a condition in some orphanages in which babies are never held and suffer major physical and psychological effects. And even for me with my current romantic situation. That missing touch is a big deal.
